In 2012/13 I completed 3 courses in Dog Listening, Canine Communication and Amichien Bonding®️, with best selling author of the Dog Listener Jan Fennell and her son Tony Knight I am fully qualified and have three certificates Foundation, Advanced and Graduate.

I live in central Scotland, I have worked with a variety of animals, since 1979, including working for the Scottish SPCA, I had a small rare breeds farm for 19 years and have kept horses for many years. I started Dog Grooming 1992, this is why I became interested in dog behaviour, coping with all sorts of dogs, and their behaviour, in the grooming salon can be a challenge. Taking Dog Listening into the salon can help calm and relax many dogs, making grooming easier for both dog and groomer.

I have had many rescue dogs, although I like to call them “second hand” as they came from owners who could no longer cope with them, I have also had two working collies which we trained from 8 weeks old, they both worked until the age of 12, everyone of my dogs have been my teachers, and it’s because of them I have learned to listen. LEARNING TO LISTEN
Consultations are on 1 to1 basis and can take 2 to 3 hours, follow up and support after the consultation, will be by phone or email, inclusive with the cost of the consultation.

Consultations can be in person, depending on location, or via video link.
